The roads are narrower in places and it would be more difficult to hike on them. I think it is probably safe enough with some care. They pass through more areas with trees and for some parts of the route pass next to a stream.
The main part of my walk is now complete before sunrise. The light in the clouds is from the city. The sky is darker than it appears in the picture.
For the past few days, it has looked like winter skies.
This was Wilson's first trip to the grocery store. I'm glad it's cool enough to bring cold groceries home. Now I don't need to drive there anymore.
Oh, after 150 miles, it's time to add more Gorilla Tape to Wilson's front tire. I'm not going to worry about the side tires as the one without tape still isn't showing any wear.
I've stopped paying attention to my walking speed and anything to do with the mechanics of walking. I've been using the time to contemplate ideas for a book I'm writing. I stop every so often to record my thoughts. Now that I've stopped paying attention, my pace is increasing. I'm also walking without fatigue most of the time.
See you down the road,
Road Walking
